Community Input on proposed Police Dept. Reorganization

Ladies and gentlemen,
The Phoenix Police Department would like to meet with you to share information and seek input regarding the proposed precinct boundary changes and corresponding reorganization within the Patrol Division. We will be holding a meeting regarding this process at the Deer Valley Senior Center on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 630 pm located at 2001 W. Wahalla (just south of 101 freeway off 19th Ave) Police Department representatives have crafted a proposal that we believe enhances officer safety and improves our ability to provide quality customer service, but there's always room for improvement. We look forward to constructive dialogue and ultimately coming away with the strongest possible product for our Department and community.

ADOT is going to do the tiered community vote on the proposed sound wall

Due to an APS utility line located just south of the existing community wall, ADOT's proposed sound wall would now be constructed nearly 18 feet south (or closer to Loop 101) than previously presented at the recent HOA meeting. The reason for the new location is that should APS ever need to access the underground utility line, they would need enough room to get in there to the work.
